Seasonal & Holiday Workshops

Apart from our Experiences and Parties that run all year round, seasonally and during most school holidays we host special workshops.

These could be one off events that are scheduled to fit in with something topical or a one day celebration, or for school holiday time so that children and families can join us or seasonal periods such as Christmas and Easter.

Workshops tend to last one to one and half hours, but each one will be scheduled with it’s individual time and be priced accordingly.

National Chocolate Week

Coffee, Cake & Chocolate

10 am to 12 noon Friday 18th October
£15 per adult (14 yrs+)  - LIMITED AVAILABILITY

 Enjoy a fun and indulgent morning with us in our studio and while you sip tea and coffee and nibble on cake, let me tell show you how we make a range of different chocolates. Everything that is made will then be shared out and taken home in goody bags.

During the morning you will be able to sample chocolate made from cocoa beans from different growing regions and appreciate the true flavour of cacao.
A purely indulgent morning!

The Basics of Tempering

10 am to 12 noon Sunday 20th October
£35 per adult / child 12 yrs + 

If you have ever wanted to make your own chocolates, let us explain to you the properties of chocolate and how to get the best results as for those who have tried, it is not as simple as just melting and setting it!
We will show you everything you need to know about what chocolate to use, the temperature & time ranges for melting and setting, the best moulds and what ingredients you can and cannot add directly to chocolate.
You will have a go at tempering your own and using the chocolate you temper to fill a novelty chocolate mould.

nb This is not about the quantity of chocolate you will take away but an informative and fun morning - just in time for you to practice yourselves before embarking on those Christmas presents!!





Haunted Houses

10 to 12 noon Saturday 26th October
10 to 12 noon Monday 28th October
£25 per adult/child - Children must be at least 6 years old  

Make and build your chocolate house, then hand pipe your own bespoke decorations, leave to set and then apply them to your new build! Take home your wonderful creations - see how scary you can make it to warn off those secret chocolate eaters at home!!




Halloween Lollypop 2019

Spooktacular Lollies!

1 pm to 2 pm Saturday 26th October  
£20 per adult/child - Children 6 yrs + (aged 4/5 with adult helper)

Join us for some fun designing your own spookily scary lollies - spiders web, bats, witches hat or cats!!
You will get the opportunity to make five lollies including using caramel!! Be as creative or original as you like!

'Trick or Treat' Treats! to 2 pm Monday 28th October  
£20 per adult/child - Children 6 yrs + (aged 4/5 with adult helper)

Using milk, white, dark and caramel chocolate, make solid pumpkins, frogs, owls mice or of course the traditional halloween shapes. Paint and decorate your chocolates using green and orange coloured chocolate for a splash of topical colour. Then take home in a goody bag ready for your 'trick or treater's' when they come a knocking at your door! Really- you're gonna give them away- I don't thing so....

Easter Egg--stravaganza!

10 am to 11.30 am Monday 8th April
12.30 pm to 2 pm Thursday 11th April
3 pm to 4.30 pm Wednesday 17th April
10 am to 11.30 am Friday 19th April (Good Friday)

£25 per adult/child aged 6 yrs + Children aged 4 years when accompanied by an adult helper

For the first time in our Easter Egg workshops we are giving you the opportunity to mix your chocolate in the mould and add your favourite ingredients!! You will make one Easter egg, choosing to fill with milk, white and or dark chocolate. A variety of different ingredients will be on offer for you sprinkle into your egg, creating a lovely edible 'window' pattern.

Please note that there will be nuts and other ingredients available for use during this workshop - please advise of any food allergies or intolerances..
